I\'ve purchased over the years various harps and this one was of the very few that didn\'t require me to open it for repairs. I\'ve bought expensive Seydel and own Suzuki Manji\'s and they almost all have needed some level of work and or tuning. But the Hohner Deluxe plays and sounds great.

I have the Hohner Special 20 (which is easy to play), I have the Hohner Blues Harp (not so easy), and I just purchased (from Harmonica Land) and received the Hohner Marine Band Deluxe (playing is like cutting soft butter with a hot knife) ! I have a Hohner (key of C) I purchased some 20+ years ago, really like it, however I never used the Marne deluxe and this one plays, feels, and sound so much better, I like the larger holes and it smoother on the tongue.

This is the best harp out there in my opinion. Very responsive and loud with effortless. The only mod I do is change the cover plater with the Special 20 cover plates. Other than that, I love this harp!

I've sampled most of the good diatonic brands at this point. This series, and the suzuki's are my two favorites, but I think I prefer this series overall. Although the Suzuki's a tad bit more expressive, the Marine Band is so easy to play that it just plays itself so to speak . Going to standardize on this for now.

I've been wanting to try a Marine band deluxe and finally needed a key I didn't have so I bought this one in the key of B. I know I understand why this is such a favorite. It is beautiful to look at to play and to listen to. It's not as loud as the Hohner Rocket but it has a definite charm of its own.

As much as I love Marine Bands, the Deluxe is a superior harp. Maybe not superior, but some nice little additions. I?ll be purchasing one in B Flat soon!

MB Deluxe is a great harp. It has the tonal quailty of the original Marine Band but with a much nicer sealed comb. Its also easier to disassemble, clean,and repair. Great harp.

Excellent quality overall, although the lower reeds required adjustment before it was playable. This was easy to do, thanks to the screw assembly, but a harp of this price really shouldn't need it, imo. In the future, I will buy standard MB's and install screws myself.

I have a crossover and a special 20 but the marine band deluxe is the best. I find it the easiest to bend notes on. It sounds great also. For just playing around with i find a D a little high. My favorite is the B-flat.

I got this new harmonica for my birthday and love it. It's a bit more spendy than an original Marine Band, but it's awfully easy to tear down for cleaning. I play the harmonica a lot, and so I clean them a lot

Deep down Blues sound. Love it for acoustic blues and bluegrass. Not so good for overblows but what a sound ! The Marine Band Deluxe Hohner is clearly much better than a classic Marine Band.
